Foodlas provides information about packaged food products — nutrition facts, ingredients, allergens, additives and related analysis — free of charge. We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of the service at any time.
Information only — not medical advice
Content on Foodlas is provided for general information. It is not medical, nutritional or dietary advice and must not be relied on as such. Product data is supplied by a collaborative community and by manufacturers and may be incomplete, outdated or wrong. Recipes change. Always read the label on the product you are buying, particularly if you have an allergy, intolerance or medical condition, and consult a qualified professional for personal advice.
Data licences and attribution
Product data comes from Open Food Facts and is available under the Open Database License; individual contents under the Database Contents License; product photos under Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike. If you reuse that data, you must follow those licences. Trademarks, product names and packaging designs belong to their respective owners and are shown for identification purposes only.
The Foodlas name, logo, design, original texts, comparisons and software are our property. You may link to any page and quote short extracts with attribution. Automated bulk copying of the site (scraping) is not permitted; use the open data from Open Food Facts instead.
Acceptable use
Do not attempt to disrupt the service, overload our servers, bypass security measures or use the site for unlawful purposes.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Foodlas is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, and we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from the use of, or reliance on, information on the site. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
